Day 97: Mice & Mouse-staches

Yesterday, I posted about giving my mice corset pieces to chew on. When I posted it on Facebook, a friend of mine initially thought that I gave my mice literal corsets. Y'know, like little mouse sized corsets. I decided to draw it.

I'm really quite pleased with these. In reality, I would never put corsets on mice. One, they'd squirm, bite, and I don't think they'd enjoy it at all. Second, it just seems ill-advised. The idea, however. The idea enchants me, and I enjoyed drawing them. My favourite is the black one, mostly because I'm pleased with the fur. Both are done with ink and water colour pencil crayons, and water colour.

In other news, yesterday I was holding Shredder.

This indistinguishable blur is Shredder.

She inspired me to draw this.

Why? When I was holding her and giving her air kisses, I started to think of the fact that a mouse would make a very soft, robust mustache. Which led to me thinking...

"MOUSE-STACHE! BAHAHA!"

And thus, the lovely illustration of an upright gentleman with a mouse for a mustache was born.

All of the small drawings I've been making will be available for sale as originals and/or prints at the Comic Expo. I haven't quite decided. Whatever the case, people will be able to take them as their own somehow.

Day 96: I should have been in bed an hour ago, but time slipped through my fingers

I'm dead tired. I've been dead tired for several hours, so maybe that explains why time slipped by so quickly. Still, I wanted to blog tonight so that I wouldn't have to lump two days together. After all... what's another fifteen minutes?

Here's a quick run down of my brain.

This song. The essence of it has been rolling around in the back of my eyes these past few days. I have been listening to on repeat.

I made these stencils ('bout time). I'll be printing at least one of them this week. Hopefully more than that. Depends on how long it takes my screen to dry in between prints. Or if I act a little recklessly and print all of them in one go, lightly washing and drying the screen in between. That being said, that's a bad idea, and I probably won't do that.

I cut out some silk for a corset, and gave some pieces to my mice. They're pretty stoked about it. Why? Because I decided that my mice chewing holes in a corset is a far better form of embellishment that anything I could ever do. It's making me think of that Aesops' Fable where the lion gets caught in a trap, and the mouse chews the ropes to set him free. Goes along with the topics and ideas that I'm working with. Restrained by something, something else unraveling it, or at least removing the constraint. Bonus, my mice get giant silk blankets to chew on, nest in, and pee on for a few weeks. That makes them quite happy.

And yes. I will be thoroughly washing the fabric before I make it into a corset.

Last but not least, here is a printer playing 'Eye of the Tiger'. Or so we're led to believe. Whether or not it's real, the idea alone is absolutely amazing. (Original source: Vimeo.)

Day 95: I've never abused a book before

Wreck This Journal is so weird. I've never cracked the spine of a book before. I've never spilled something on a book before. I've never done anything to abuse a book like this before. Then again... I guess that is the point. It's so strange. Rather alien. The above photo is the aftermath of me dumping coffee on the book. Good times... Coffee stain makes a pretty colour, though.

In other news, I'm strongly considering doing a Rocket Raccoon cosplay. Rocket Raccoon is the gun wielding raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. You might recognize the name from the upcoming film. Here's a glance at Rocket Raccoon.

Here are a few earlier images of Rocket, and an idea of how he looks. Outside of the upcoming movie.

My favourite version of Rocket Raccoon is his blue and red jacket/pants combination. It's the Guardians of the Galaxy outfit that appears in a few places, including an episode of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I'm strongly considering doing a cosplay based off of it, with raccoon ears, and tail. A very anthropomorphic version of Rocket Raccoon. I just think it'd be cool to do it. Honestly, Rocket Raccoon is pretty much the only reason that I'm excited for the movie. I mean... it is a raccoon with guns.

Today I had the best intentions of getting some work done. Unfortunately, I'm still getting over being sick, so this morning I ended up sleeping on the couch for over an hour. I've been exhausted all day. It's time to go to bed. And tomorrow, I return to school. Yuck.

Sunday 23 February 2014

Day 94: Wreck This Journal

Adventuring in the city and running errands today. We picked up some vitamins, went to a couple of thrift stores, and I picked up some makeup things that I needed for my mermaid costume. It was supposed to be really cold, but it was actually quite nice out. I found a few cool things at thrift stores. That includes a fantastic foot stool/ottoman thing for $5, an old brass box with a label on the top that says 'THEE' on the top, a really really really long velvet trench coat that makes me think of a vampire (and unless I'm wearing 4 inch heels it will drag on the floor. It's quite exciting, and will be so nice to have for when I'm dressed in steampunk clothing), a gold-coloured anchor necklace, and a long velvet skirt. Good things all around. After that, I got some sparkly makeup, and a copy of Wreck This Journal. I've been wanting a copy for a while. A think a lot of the desire for it stems from the fact that I've been creatively stuck a lot, and while being sick I've been wanting things to do.

I've already done a few pages, and so far it's absolutely delightful. The creator of the book, Keri Smith, has done several books similar to this, and I'd love to own all of them. They're like activity books for adults. Interestingly enough, the books are in the Self Help section at Chapters. I can kind of see why. It's quite cathartic to do the activities. It's destructive, but also meditative. Personally, I'm not doing the book in any order. I've been using random.org to determine what page to do. Here are the pages I've done so far...

Before you look, though, some notes. 1) The test page was filled in using an entire pencil case of pencils, pencils, and pencil crayons. 2) The page for four letter words does have some curse words and inappropriate words. They are four letter words, and I honestly used any words that I could think of. Just an FYI. I don't condone the use of foul language, but... yeah.

It's quite fun. I also ripped out a page. As per instructions. Thus the crumpled paper that's in a lot of the photos.

Also, I painted my nails. I used my normal black nail polish, and then added the nail polish that I got from Ardene's today. It's kind of an iridescent purple, with sparkles. I used it by itself on my ring finger, and then used it as a top coat on my pinkie and thumb. On the black it makes me think of Ursula from The Little Mermaid or a dark unicorn... Or just an oil slick.  I like it. I used to never paint my nails, but I've been really into black nail polish recently. Except on my ring finger. I'm a fan of painting it a different colour altogether.

Day 93: Ahoy, maties!

I decided that on one of the days at the Expo this year, Grimm Fabrications will have a pirate day. We're going to dress up as pirates and fly the Grimm Fabrications pirate flag. It's a work in progress, but so far so good! I'm making it on the reverse of an old banner than I made when I was a teenager (seemed fitting), using a stencil that I cut. The stencil is a rabbit skeleton, upside down. So, it's basically the Grimm Fabrications logo, only with a rabbit skeleton. Thus more pirate-y. I'm thinking that I should add something else, like crossed swords, or crossed needles, or something. Just to make it even more of a pirate flag. Here is the painted flag thus far...

The logo is a bit smaller in comparison to the overall flag, which is partially why I'm thinking about adding more. When it's done, it will be hung on the Grimm Fabrications table, and us buccaneers will be standing behind it, being pirates. It'll be good fun.

Day 92: Hoooods (p.s. I'm a unicorn beast)

Finished three hoods today. Then I photographed some of them, and photographed my Hell Hound hoods as well. The above is the Unicorn Beast hood that I made. I call it 'unicorn beast' because it's not really a unicorn, because it has pointy ears and it doesn't have a mane. Makes me all the more glorious. Or something. Any ways...

I posted a couple more photos on my Grimm Fabrications blog. The ones shown on this blogs are ones that I finished today.

Day 91: 6 Months

Today was our six month anniversary. We decided to celebrate it more than Valentine's, because they are so close together. A while ago, my boss gave me a gift certificate for an Italian restaurant in Inglewood. The restaurant is Sugo. It was fantastic! I highly recommend it. I can't remember exactly what we ate, because it's Italian and I can't remember Italian words. Ever. We ordered three things. I wasn't terribly hungry, so we ordered two smaller things, and my husband ordered a burger (not just a burger... and it was really good). To be honest, I'm still not sure what we ate. We kind of ordered what sounded good. The basics are that we ordered mozzarella (which came with lots of lovely olive oil, and cherry tomatoes), bruschetta (a type that had sliced meat, greens, a strange vegetable thing, and a type of ricotta that was blue cheese-ish), and the burger had different kinds of cheese, grilled pineapple, and a few other things. All of the food was fantastic, with good portions, and the price was quite fair. Even without the gift certificate, it would have come to $38 before the tip. We tipped our waiter quite well, because he was excellent, and provided good service. We were really the only people there, because we were eating at about 3:30 (just worked out that way). It was a nice experience.

Now that I'm done my mini review of Sugo... What did I do today? Prior to date afternoon with husband man...

I decided that today was a good day to try to do my Loitering project for school. I don't really feel like explaining... mostly because it's pretty much what it sounds like. A project where we have to loiter in order to see things, record, so on. See what happens. I'm not sure how successful I was. I ended up collecting a lot of leaves and dirt. I think that I'll record more over the next few days. I'll try to loiter about. It's just weird because I notice everything already. Forcing myself to try to notice more is just.... I dunno. An annoyance? Ah well. Collecting leaves and dirt was fun. I like taping things into my sketchbook. To be honest, I think loitering would be more enjoyable if it wasn't cold outside. It was beautiful today, but it didn't get really nice until the afternoon.

Prior to eating food, my husband and I antiqued and wandered around the shops in Inglewood. After eating food, we went thrifting. I found a top for a pirate costume, and a really cool bag.

What is better than an old lady bag. Made out of tapestry fabric. Fabric that depicts flowers and cats. And all I paid was $4. Fantastic. Thank you, Value Village. Sometimes your prices make sense, and sometimes it's things that I want.

Tomorrow I am going to attempt making my mermaid bustle, a skirt, and a few more hoods. Let's see if I can follow through!

Wednesday 19 February 2014

Day 90: Ugh. Sickness.

My husband got me sick. My productivity plummeted from yesterday. Then again, it was probably better to be sick and just rest up today, because tomorrow there is much to do, and I actually need to leave the house. So... yeah. I was sick. Annoying cough, sore throat. UUUUGGGGGHHHH I HATE BEING SICK. Sad face. Still, despite spending my day watching MLP and playing Skyrim, all the while eating leftover Chinese food (mmm all that spice and ginger!) and drinking orange juice, I did get one thing done. A while ago I joined in on a yearly Facebook thing where you agree to make a piece of art for the first 10 people who commented. Only eight people commented on mine, but that's okay. Less work! Today I finished the first one. I got the idea a few days ago.

Behold! My Romantically Apocalyptic pony. I made this for a friend of mine who loves My Little Pony, and she and her husband are the creators of the web comic Romantically Apocalyptic. (P.S. It's a fantastic comic, and they're super cool people. You should check it out.) It seemed natural to do a mash up of the two.

Now... meow meow meow. Tired and yucky feeling. Bed. Too much to do tomorrow.

Day 88 & 89: Family Day and other adventures

Yesterday I worked. It was Family Day. The museum was free, with lots of activities, events, and food, and because of that the museum was packed, busy, and action packed. I did learn that my own personal purgatory is being stuck at a kids' craft table, with no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, trying to teach kids and their parents how to make bracelets while also trying to cut string. Nightmare. Thankfully it was only for half an hour. That wore me out. When I got home, we watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead, and then some friends came over. Kind of sleepy.

Today was a productive day. I woke up, and wore mismatching socks.

Yes, that is kind of a big deal. I couldn't find matching socks, and this worked. It's fun to be rebellious. (OOOOOH mismatching socks! Such rebellious. Much wow.

Any ways, I moved on to work on hoods. I watched way too much My Little Pony (le sign), but I managed to finish my Supernatural inspired hoods for the Expo. Yay! I call the hoods 'The Hellhound'/ 'Hellhounds'.

This is a terrible photograph. Better photos will be posted to my Grimm Fabrications blog soon. The lining is made up of Devil's Traps, and it was printed by Spoonflower. I'm quite pleased.

Tomorrow... I'll be continuing to test out unicorn hoods, and a buncha buncha cruncha drawings. I've decided to draw a bunch of things and sell them as one-of-a-kind art cards. I'll photograph them for my reference, but I probably won't make prints of the postcards that I'm selling. That way anyone who buys art from me at the Expo (if anyone) will get a unique piece of art done by yours truly. I hope that people will buy my weird art. It's weird, but it's my weirdness. More on that tomorrow!

Day 87: Sailor Jerry & Zine Madness

I was feeling some Sailor Jerry love. This meant that after I baked a cake, I decorated it with a poorly remembered Sailor Jerry quote. It's supposed to be 'Stewed, Screwed, and Tattooed'. However, I didn't bother looking it up, and thus... 'Screwed, Boozed and Tattooed' ended up in icing on a chocolate cake. Mmm delicious Sailor Jerry cake. In order to find a good recipe for moist chocolate cake, I simply typed in 'chocolate cake moist' and the first result was really good. Ah, the power of the internet.

In other news...

Last night I drew this.

A friend of my husband's said that I should draw a pug in a greaser Ponyboy style. Why? Because a group of pugs is called a grumble. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.

Today, I worked on a lot of drawing. On one hand, I worked on one of my zines for the Calgary Comic Expo.

So far so good. I'll be doing two versions. One is the straight up text and drawing version. The other is going to be an activity book version. Which won't provide that much information, but it'll be fun. Anyone who completes it and posts it to Facebook will receive a drawing from me, if they so choose. It'll be something that I offer to them. Because I'd love to see people's creativity that was spurred by my creativity.

In other news, Alternative Ponies!

I've been watching a lot of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It's been inspiring me to draw alternative versions of ponies. So far I have done this one, which is kind of a Death pony, I guess? I'm not perfectly happy with it... I'll probably do a little bit of tweaking on it. Turns out that a friend of mine who is also going to have his art at the Expo is thinking about selling alternative ponies. When he saw that I was doing the same thing, we had a mini Facebook battle to the death, using characters from Star Trek: TNG and My Little Pony. We ended up calling a truce. I suppose that we will have to wait until the Expo to see who the true victor will be.

Day 85 & 86: Valentine's Day and other hijinx

This was the first time that I've ever had plans on Valentine's Day. It's just not my favourite holiday, though I do appreciate the efforts of the martyr St. Valentine's. Particularly now that I'm married. Still, it's just not a big deal for me. Even now that I am married, my husband and I didn't really have plans, and weren't keen on making plans. However, events took place, and we ended up going on with my husband's friend and his girlfriend. We had supper with them on Thursday, and then plans were made. Now... we'll return to that in a moment.

Valentine's Day.

This was one of the strangest Valentine's Day. I left the house to go and hand in an assignment. While I was out, I decided that I should run some errands, pick up some art supplies, do some printing, and so on. While I was at ACAD, I found an envelope on my desk. It was a card from my friend Natalie, and it was filled with glitter. I've never received a card full of glitter before, and it delighted me to no end. I made her a card with a drawing of a rhino, which (from what I can tell on Facebook) made her happy. Later, I was walking to the Sunnyside Art Supply store, and while walking there, I passed lots of people. Normal, because I walk quite rapidly. I passed a group of three teenage boys. I noted that one had several roses sticking out of his bag and I thought "Oh, that's so cute- He must be giving flowers to someone he has a crush on, or his girlfriend. D'awe." Shortly after I pass them, I hear "Excuse me, miss!" I turn, confused, and the boy with the flowers trots up to me, and says "You dropped this!" He hands me one of the flowers, and says "It's fake so it won't die... Happy Valentine's Day!" I was speechless and flustered, and completely dumbfounded. It was so adorable, and just so sweet. What can I say? Sometimes I'm hopelessly enchanted by the arbitrarily kind gestures of strangers. Later, my husband gave me a practically new copy of Season One Volume 1 of She-Ra: Princess of Power that he found at the thrift store. Remarkable condition, and it's really cool, because She-Ra is impossible to find... Unless you want to pay upwards of $30 (and that's for a used copy!). My husband is such a lovely man. I like him.

So, this brings us to the events of the evening, the shenanigans. We went to a Mr. Lahey and Randy stage show with some friends. First we went to Peter's for burgers and to get burger wrappers for Randy to sign. If you're unfamiliar with Mr. Lahey and Randy, you probably haven't watched Trailer Park Boys. Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian made show, and it's really funny, kind of weird, and Randy and Mr. Lahey are one of the best parts. Be warned, the show isn't for everyone, but it's funny if it is for you. The stage show was really funny, really Canadian, and even more lewd. I will say that I've never felt more patriotic in my life. It even ended up involved singing the national anthem. It was crazy, though. We weren't sure if we would get tickets, or if we would even get it. However, we ended up getting tickets for free from the people who were working for the radio station that was one of the sponsors. Bonus! It was a fun show. Afterwards we met them briefly and got signed photos. I'm going to hang mine in my studio and people will be puzzled. Such a weird night, but a good'un.

Now, onto creative endeavors. So, yesterday I went to Sunnyside Art Supply, and got some art supplies. As mentioned. Sunnyside is great. One of my classmates from school works there, and he's so helpful. Seriously, if you're ever there, talk to the young guy with the beard. He's great, knowledgeable, and just a nice guy. Any ways, we talked and chatted, and he gave me a tiny piece of his almond brittle square thing from the organic market. Tasty. I told him what I was working on, and he helped me figure out what would be best for me in terms of watercolours. I'm totally sold on watercolour now. I've even broken out my watercolour pencil crayons and started using them like an adult. After a bit of work, I finally got to a point with my drawing where I am happy. That sentence sounded stupid... but I digress (and also, I don't know how I can fix it right now)...

This was my work space around 3 o'clock yesterday.

And this is the finished submission.

Her one eye is driving me insane, and I didn't notice it until photographing it, so I'm going to fix that before actually scanning the submission. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased! I'm going to do another submission on top of this one, but over all... pleased. One of my friends suggested that I have prints at my table, and I think I will. I'm planning to sell postcards of drawings and my photographs, and this will probably be one of them. I might even sell a black and white version. My mum suggested that if I do a line drawing version, I should invite people to colour them and submit them on Facebook. I want to build a community, and having activities for folks to be creative with... That'll be fun!

My favourite part of my Mermaid submission is the background coral and the scales on her tail. Y'know, it feels good to spend so much time on a drawing. I haven't done it for a while, but every time that I spend a few hours on an illustration or drawing or design, I always end up feeling so satisfied, successful, and just happy in every way. I definitely want to do more drawing. Lately it's all I've really wanted to do, and I've been itching to do more. Everything I watch keeps inspiring me. Which... is kind of funny. Because the things I've been watching by myself have been My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, a documentary on Bronies (ha... I watched it twice in two days), and a documentary on drag queens. All of these things make me want to draw. Among other things. I want to draw lots and lots and lots... and draw lots of different things!

Day 84: Fire and other trials

Today was a day when I woke up, got going, and felt genuinely good. Just happy, well-rested, motivated... All good things. What do I do when I feel happy and motivated? I use my dog creamer and fancy tea cups to have my morning tea. I like my dog creamer. Though, this morning I realized how absurd it is... I mean, it makes it look like the dog is spitting or vomiting into your tea cup. Charming!

Any ways, after sipping tea (some lovely Canadian Breakfast- Thank you, Mum!), I started watching a documentary about Bronies (on Netflix. It was really good, and got me really excited for the Comic Expo). While I watching it, I started doing samples for a wool corset. My theory was that wool is self-extinguishing, so if I embroidered with cotton, the cotton would burn more, and possibly burn away completely, leaving the wool less burned. This didn't end up working the way I planned, but the effect was still cool.

I didn't remember or think of the fact that wool absolutely smells when it's burned. It's the smell of a cow being branded, and the smell of all the times I've set my hair on fire (just kidding. I've only set my hair on fire twice. Both times were accidents). It's going to be fun to embroider and set fire to an entire wool corset. Ugh... the incense I will need to burn to get the smell out of my nostrils. I'll probably have to burn it outside.... Here is a photo of the corset shape, pre-embroidery and pre-burning.

It'll be fun to do. I have so many corsets to finish and get done in the span of a month. Not looking forward to it. I think that if I get two done, that'll be okay. Then I'll do two more between March and April. Because... adhering to timelines is for people who adhere to their timelines... Ha ha haaaaaa.... Merp.

Any ways, I've finally gotten one of my submissions for the CCEE artbook done. I'm thinking that I'll do at least one more, maybe two. That way I'll convince myself to do more drawing (which makes me feel really good), and I'll have a better chance of getting a submission in.... Hopefully. I'm planning to do more drawings to have at the Comic Expo. Some in the form of postcards that I'll probably just print myself. Maybe I'll see how much Staples charges for a few postcard sized things. I just want to do more drawing, and have more postcard/ephemera type things that people can buy, so that I can share my photography, drawing, illustration, so on, and people will see all of the things that I can do. Now, without further ado...

Click for larger images. I'm not sure that they're fully done. I'm trying to decide whether I should shade them more, or add colour. I'm going to photocopy them tomorrow, and then try some things on different things. I'm just pleased with the end result, of my pin up mermaid with her lover in the background, safely tangled in the sea weed so that he doesn't float away. The script reads "And the mermaid lived happily ever after, because even sailors drown". It's a phrase that I thought of, which I thought summarized it quite well. It's somehow inspired by 'loose lips sink ships' (which is tattooed on the mermaid's arm). The idea being that even the strongest succumb to love, and in this case, that was the end of him. A tad cryptic perhaps? Any ways, if you can think of any suggestions, please let me know. I have a couple other ides for drawings. Soon to come...

p.s. There are lots of updates on my Grimm Fabrications blog, so be sure to check those out. They're not long blogs, but they're exciting to me.

Day 83: Productivity, or the lack thereof.

Some days, I just can't convince myself to be productive. At least, not to my fullest. Which is kind of sad. Still, sometimes it sparks me to do other things, like random miscellaneous photography projects.

I was playing around a bit with the kind of feel I'm going for in terms of the upcoming website, some of the collections, imagery in general, and so on. Today I was thinking about pagan altars, chiromancy, and rituals. The train of thought led to a few photographs... after I drew a bunch of things on my left hand.

Then, there's these ones. I like the black and white. I used soft focus on both of them, because I wanted to create a bit of a dreamy feeling. As always, I'm constantly inspired by images that I find online, and then I attempt to replicate them, but in my own way.

For the record, the symbols on my hand are various things. Alchemical symbols for life, fire, water, and sulfur. Hobo symbol for all's well (or something along those lines). A crescent moon. My usual three dots (which can mean lots of things, and as we all know, matches my wrist tattoo). Symbol for Aries and Mars. Just so everyone knows.

Day 82: Ghosts and donuts and a fairly unfortunate day

Today was a strange day. I was supposed to have a critique, but the instructor was sick, which I didn't find out until I got to school. I managed to get my social sciences homework done, so that was good, but it was still too bad. Then, the rest of the day was a strange balance of good and bad.

First of all, I got 20 feet of silk. I don't think I mentioned this, but I applied for a grant from my department at school, and I received it! It was just enough to pay for all of the silk that I needed for my grad piece. I was so surprised to actually receive it, and I'm so excited to make this project! Any ways, I had to get some other things as well, and while I was carrying a very disorganized armful of supplies, I ended up with an interesting welt in my arm.

Kind of heart shaped.... what does it mean that my art supplies gave me a heart shaped welt? It has since reduced to two red scratches, but the fact that happened! Weird. Kind of hurt, too.

Later I got home, and I was doing dishes. This is the most unfortunate and sad thing that happened to me today.

I was drying one of the vintage mixing bowls that my mum gave me for my bridal shower, and... Slip, perplunk, smash. My favourite one of the set, laying in pieces on the kitchen floor. I almost burst into tears. However, I am an adult, so I found a paper bag, picked up the pieces, and swept carefully. I kept a couple of the pieces, and right now they're on my shelf. I just really liked the pattern that was along the side. It's this bird and flower design, and it's just quite lovely. I still have other bowls, but this one was the perfect size, and was just so lovely. I hate that moment when you drop something, and your brain slows it down, so you have to watch it slide through the air, until the impending doom occurs. Shatter.

Listening to Gogol Bordello while making a casserole cheered me up a bit, but I'm still a bit sad about the bowl. It's just so unfortunate. Sweeping up broken things is such a let down. After supper, I started work on a new corset.

This one is inspired by Rococo, and a little bit of burlesque. The front bodice piece is going to be embroidered with Rococo/18th century inspired pattern, with text relating to gender-based anxieties.

Here is a rough drawing of the embroidery-to-be. It is based off of the embroidery from an 18th century pannier gown.

It's driving me insane...

This strange mark appears in the top right corner of my documentation. And I have no idea what it is. It's some kind of shadow... Or more likely, a ghost. Because I watched a found footage movie about the Bell Witch, and she probably found out, and came here all the way from Tennessee, and now I'm in trouble. OH NO.

In other news, here are some photos that were taken of us at the Well, Basil My Rathbone classic film night. It was good fun. The photos were taken by the talented Kelly Hofer (link goes to his Facebook page, where you can lots and lots of his work).

Again. One of my favourite outfits yet.
